For bookbinding we can separate the applications into 2 different applications:
1.The binding of the pages to eachother, well known as spine glues.
2. Finishing the books at the innerside of the book with side-glues.
Spine hot melts
Spine glueing can be done with many different machines (types and manufacturers). On of the known bookbinding machinery manufacturers is Müller Martini. Every machine could own it's own particular parameters but in most situations Intercol's HM 776 would work perfectly. For special publications were an extreme good bond or heat resistance is required one could consider the use of PolyUrethane hot melts. The use of PolyUrethane hot melts does require certain knowledges of operators.
